Toyota Lanka continues its journey of growth with the opening of a brand new facility in Badulla, strengthening its commitment to connect more closely with customers across the island. This marks the third facility opening within just one week, reflecting strong momentum in expanding regional accessibility and bringing services right to the heart of communities.
The new facility ensures that customers in the region can now access Toyota’s range of vehicles and after sales services with greater ease, reducing the need for long distance travel and making every interaction more convenient and efficient.
The opening ceremony was attended by key representatives including Masaaki Kawabata – Chairman of Toyota Lanka, Manohara Ahtukorala – Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mathisha Samaranayake – Chief Operating Officer, and Naotaka Takeda – Project Manager for Value Chain Business Development, alongside other senior officials, highlighting the importance of this milestone.
This is more than a new facility. It is a promise to stand closer to the people, to open doors to opportunity, and to move lives forward with confidence and dignity. Because we believe when mobility reaches every corner, it transforms not just journeys, but futures.
