Recent Achievements:
2023: Three Gold medals (S7 50m Butterfly, S7 50m Freestyle and S7 100m Backstroke) and a Silver at Hangzhou Asian Para Games. Three Gold and 2 Silver medals at ASEAN Para Games – new Games records in S7 50m Butterfly and S7 100m Freestyle
2024: Participated at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games
2025: Three Gold, one Silver and one Bronze medals at the ASEAN Para Games – the third golden hat-trick of his international career, amassing 11 ASEAN Para Games gold medals

HIS Sport

Swimming is where Wei Soong feels free to move without limits. What began as therapy for a chronic condition that restricts the use of his legs became a passion and a career in competitive sport. Since then, he has represented Singapore on some of the world’s biggest stages, earning medals across the Commonwealth Games, Asian Para Games and ASEAN Para Games.

HIS Cause

Wei Soong hopes inclusion becomes a part of everyday life. Through his Dual Hero Project, he is championing adaptive and inclusive fashion that helps more people feel comfortable, confident and represented. By working to raise awareness and spark conversations around accessible design, he hopes to encourage a future where products and experiences are created with everyone in mind.
